Races & events

Three races across nine months, each one a first except the HYROX — and the HYROX has a number attached to it that I've said out loud, in public, in advance.

MyFitnessPal HYROX Tampa

Men's Open Solo · Tampa Convention Center, FL

The rematch. Same distance, same eight stations, same body — but this time with six months of actual run training behind it instead of none.

The goal 1:05:00 Would be a 7:43 improvement on Miami. Running has improved, stations have improved, my time will too.

Life Time Miami Marathon

26.2 mi · Miami, FL

The one I signed up for because I started enjoying running again. 26.2 miles will be the furthest distance I have ever raced in one piece.

IRONMAN Jacksonville

2.4 mi swim · 112 mi bike · 26.2 mi run · Jacksonville, FL

140.6 miles in my own city. The end of the arc and the furthest my engine has ever been asked to go by a wide margin.

The goal Finish Everything between now and May is in service of this line.

IRONMAN 70.3 Florida Not in yet

1.2 mi swim · 56 mi bike · 13.1 mi run · Haines City, FL

Currently do not have a slot — general entry is sold out. I'm performing a twelve-week build with Coach Hector Torres at TriPeak Athlete as part of the Winback performance and recovery pilot regardless: baseline bike, run and swim testing starts this week and every number gets published. The fitness is the point; competing in Haines City is a bonus if tickets become available.

The goal Gain entry And put the TriPeak training block to the test.
